Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in financial services, consulting, or technology.
- Strong understanding of sales processes including pipeline management, forecasting, and prioritization.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex, strategic, revenue-impacting deals.
- Deep knowledge of the competitive landscape for financial data and analytics solutions.
- Experience in publishing and delivering thought leadership (e.g., research, presentations).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Apttus CPQ/CLM, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of sales engagements, including prospecting, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth onboarding and product delivery.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Solution Specialists, and Product teams to ensure complete client coverage.
- Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline updates to management.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets while enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Support the implementation and adoption of Moody’s workflow solutions, including AI-powered platforms.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on client needs, product capabilities, and delivery timelines.
About the Team
Our LATAM Sales team is responsible for driving revenue growth and client engagement across Latin America.
We contribute to Moody’s by:
- Expanding market share in strategic territories such as Brazil, Mexico, and the Andean region.
- Delivering high-impact solutions that address client needs in credit, risk, and other domains.
- Supporting innovation through adoption of AI-enabled workflows and data automation platforms.
