Summary:
In this role, you will champion, lead, and coordinate all spend management activity through the spend management delivery team’s account planning process. You will work with Provider leadership across all Spend Management categories to understand priorities and build a workplan that aligns Vizient solutions to help solve problems, drive value, and grow the Vizient-provider relationship.
Responsibilities:
Engage Provider leadership around challenges specific to non-labor spend categories, demonstrating an understanding of healthcare supply chain, including industry trends and leading practices.
Utilize Vizient insights and intelligence to bring ideas forward to highlight Vizient value, mitigate risk and to influence Providers in leveraging Vizient to help solve their spend management challenges.
Lead the development and execution of account plans, project plans and workplans by facilitating a collaborative process between provider stakeholders and Vizient resources.
Interpret insights and intelligence and align findings to Provider priorities and leads spend management delivery team in making recommendations to Provider on category workplan initiatives; Presents benefits and return on investment derived from Vizient tools and solutions, ensuring provider value is realized.
Responsible for activation of Provider spend management renewal strategy � partner with Enterprise Team (where applicable) and Spend Management Sales & Solution Architects on financial modeling, upsells, managing scope approval, statement of work (SOW) generation, and invoicing activities.
Drive member value within provider account plans by developing spend management roadmap and activating category strategy, pulling through new spend management opportunities within defined territory.
Conduct quarterly spend management business reviews with supply chain, their executive leader, and other stakeholders to communicate roadmap progress, value delivered and future opportunities.
Partner with Enterprise Principal/MPP/PEC in Provider EBR’s.
Biweekly/monthly engagement with Providers� strategic stakeholders across spend management categories to understand the problems they are working to solve, their strategic financial and operational objectives.
Works with product owners to develop and deliver provider education plans that enhance provider knowledge of the spend management services portfolio.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
7 or more years relevant experience in sales and/or account management experience required.
A hunter mentality, strong consultative selling, analytical and customer service skills required.
Ability to effectively communicate, facilitate and present information to C-Suite and executive management needed.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Software products (Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel).
Experience working with Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and supply chain is a plus.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients� needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
