Skills and CompetenciesÌý
- 5+ yearsâ€� experience in global network support teamÌýÌýÌý
- Solid knowledge and experience in BGP peering, routing/switching, MPLS, ISIS, and OSPFÌýÌý
- Understanding core Networking conceptsÌý
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Azure Network Watcher, Log Analytics).Ìý
- Network security: Understanding of network security principles and practices, including access control and information transfer policiesÌý
- Experience investigating complex issues and performing corrective actions, proven track record in leading major incident recovery.Ìý
- Knowledge on Python, Ansible, Stackstorm is a plusÌý
- Highly impactful problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ìý
- Experience working with ITSM systems such as ServiceNow.Ìý

ResponsibilitiesÌý
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)Ìý
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurationsÌý
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliabilityÌý
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planningÌý
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issuesÌý
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructureÌý
- Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security teamÌý
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolutionÌý
- Implement global risk controls / security measures and best practices to manage risk.Ìý
- Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.Ìý
- Conduct regular system audits and security assessments.Ìý
- Participate in rotational weekend shifts OR on-call and provide after-hours support.Ìý
- Leads service recovery from major incidents and facilitates mitigation within the SLO targets. Identify root cause and implement permanent solutions.Ìý
- Develop and maintain documentation for application configurations, processes, and procedures including SoPsÌý
- Provide expert technical support and solve complex problemsÌý
- Provide training to end-users and other team members as neededÌý
- Work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders in achieving full ITIL process compliance, including incident, change, problem, configuration and major incident processes.Ìý
