Skills and Competencies
- Well-developed analytical and modelling skills
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities in Portuguese and English. Some Spanish skills would be a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are mandatory.
- Python programming & Visual Basic for Applications knowledge would be a plus.

* ÌýÌýÌýÌý Students matriculating a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics and Accounting or any related field

Responsibilities
- Review performance of existing transactions and help in preparing quarterly surveillance reports
- Analyze transaction documents to understand transaction structure and legal, operational, and counterparty risks
- Analyze characteristics of underlying portfolio and performance history
- Apply default and cash flow modeling in line with Moody’s Local rating methodologies
- Attend virtual and in-person meetings with originators, advisors and other transaction participants as part of the rating analysis and surveillance process
- Assist in preparing rating committee materials
- Assist in producing timely and relevant research on specific issuers or sector related issues that is in-depth, high quality, informative and focused
- Assist in rating methodology, model and scorecard updates
- Build and manage relationships with investors, advisors, and issuers

About the team
The Structured Finance team at Moody’s Local Brasil is in charge of assigning and reviewing credit ratings for structured finance transactions issued in the Brazilian market. These transactions cover a broad spectrum of instruments - including FIDC, CRI, CRA, and Fiagro - and asset classes such as auto loans, payroll-deducted loans, consumer credit, trade receivables, credit card receivables, and mortgage loans, among others. The team also provides insightful research to market participants
