Job Details

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong analytical skills, audit rigor, and a deep understanding of accounting processes to take a lead role in the Record to Report Flex Process. This role involves the end-to-end review of Flex contracts, preparation of flex balance sheet reconciliation and SOX controls to ensure accurate financial accounting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong audit mindset, technical accounting expertise, and exceptional collaboration and communication skills to work across departments, lead issue resolution, and drive continuous improvement.

What you will do:
  • Lead the review and interpretation of Flex contracts to understand key terms, assumptions, obligations, and stipulations
  • Perform in-depth analysis of how Flex deals were structured and processed operationally and financially; assess appropriateness of accounting treatment
  • Verify accounting records against contract terms and ensure alignment with relevant accounting principles and company policies
  • Apply audit-level scrutiny to identify inconsistencies, misinterpretations, or processing errors; drive investigations and determine necessary accounting corrections
  • Perform flex balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with corporate policies
  • Prepare SOX controls for Flex RTR process
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with project teams, finance, operations, and legal to resolve issues, clarify contract interpretations, and support decision-making
  • Take ownership of issue tracking and follow-up processes to ensure timely closure of findings and proper documentation
  • Develop and enhance reporting and analysis using advanced Excel techniques and Power BI dashboards; provide insights to senior stakeholders
  • Support internal and external audits by providing robust documentation and analysis related to Flex contracts and related accounting treatment
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and control design to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the Flex process
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members as needed

What you need

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • 2-4 years of accounting or audit experience, ideally with exposure to contract-driven accounting or project-based environments
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to interpret and translate contract terms into accounting impact
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes; familiarity with revenue recognition and financial controls
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); experience with Power BI is a strong advantage

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate with autonomy
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a structured, methodical approach, investigative mindset with strong follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to convey findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally
