Position Overview:

This position will play a crucial role in supporting the North America Procurement Team in terms of decision-making and cost management for both Direct Materials and Indirect Material Spend.  The position will manage the procurement balance sheet, reconcile/validate rebates across Direct and Indirect spend, and lead various PEC health checks across Raw/Pack Spend.

The candidate must have strong communication skills, cross-functional team experience and be results-focused with minimal direct supervision. The Finance Analyst must be able to effectively interact, collaborate and communicate across multiple functions in the organization and cooperate and build consensus to drive results. The position will plan, prioritize and manage workload in an environment of competing priorities to support and guide timely and sound decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monthly ownership/reconciliation of the Procurement balance sheet.
  • Weekly/Monthly health checks across the Raw/Pack Material Ledger
  • Provide financial clarity for where various cost impacts will be expensed on the Profit and Loss Statement for various stakeholders in the finance and non-finance community
  • Assist in supporting Local and Above-Market savings initiatives in Oscar and a SME within the Global Value Realization Guidelines.
  • Assist in preparation and variance analysis of raw/pack price forecast on monthly basis.
  • Provide financial training on a monthly / quarterly to new and existing employees within the NA Procurement Indirect Team.
  • Ad-hoc Duties as assigned

Minimum Educational Level:
Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

Ìý


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced Excel modeling and/or reporting skills
  • Experience creating dashboards with business intelligence software (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • 3-5 years financial analysis experience with costing and accounting knowledge
  • Ability to quickly learn many areas of the P&L and Balance Sheet to understand and appropriately approve/reject projects.
  • SAP or other ERP experience helpful for Rebate / Balance sheet scope of work.
  • Supply Chain / Procurement / Factory knowledge a plusÌý
  • Strong Excel modeling and/or reporting skills
  • Proven track record working in cross-functional teams
