About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Hardware Verification Engineer in the Product Development team to join our world-class engineering team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the flawless performance and reliability of our cutting-edge audio products. Your work will directly impact the development of next-generation products, from initial concept to final release. You will collaborate closely with experts in electronics, audio, radio, system software engineering and JDM cross team to bring our vision to life. You will be a key contributor to fostering a community where everyone feels included and empowered to do their best work.

What You’ll Do:
- Hardware Verification Strategy: Working with global colleagues to understand PRD requirements, hardware NUDDs (New, Unique, Different, Difficult) requirements, Usage Model and identify a concrete Hardware Verification Strategy.
- Design Verification: Collaborate with hardware design engineers to develop and execute comprehensive verification plans, including functional, performance, and stress tests. This will involve reviewing design specifications, identifying potential failure modes, and developing test cases to validate design intent. including but not limited Signal Integrity,AC/DC Power Supply, Battery Management. Audio Performance, Acoustic Design Maturity, etc.
- Test Development: Design and implement innovative test methodologies and procedures to thoroughly evaluate product functionality and reliability. This may involve developing custom test procedures, utilizing advanced measurement techniques, and leveraging simulation tools.
- Test Execution & Analysis: Conduct hands-on testing, analyze test results, identify and debug issues, and generate detailed test reports. You will be responsible for accurately documenting test results, performing root cause analysis of failures, and communicating findings effectively to the design team.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, working closely with design teams to implement effective corrective actions. This will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills to pinpoint the root cause of issues and propose effective solutions.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage. You will utilize scripting languages like Python to automate repetitive tasks, reducing manual effort and increasing test throughput.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in verification processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and reduce time-to-market. This may involve identifying areas for process optimization, implementing new testing techniques, and staying abreast of the latest industry best practices.
- Program and JIRA Management: Drive verification schedules, status, result, failure analysis, and corrective actions till issue closed independently or with global JIRA bug review meetings.Ìý
What You’ll Need:
- Must-Have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering or a related field.
- Strong foundation in digital and analog electronics design principles, including experience with circuit analysis, signal integrity, and power electronics.
- Experience with hardware design, simulation, or verification toolsÌý
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. You must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passion for audio technology and a strong desire to contribute to high-quality products.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with audio systems and audio testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with scripting languages ( eg. Python)
- Experience with hardware debugging tools (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
- Knowledge of industry-standard verification methodologies and toolsÌý
- Experience with design for test (DFx) concepts.
