Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Develop software solutions to manage financial reporting and product control functions. Gather requirements from the business team and perform requirement analysis. Drive the processes of application design, development and testing. Lead the microservices development projects using Spring, Spring Boot, Java, and J2EE technologies. Configure and deploy Spring Boot services using cloud technologies, including Docker, OpenShift and Elastic Container Service (ECS). Develop user interface (UI) components of web applications using Angular and TypeScript. Develop data extract, transform and load (ETL) processes using Ab Initio ETL tool. Develop data processing procedures and scripts using Oracle 12c. Prepare functional design and technical design documents. Support the applications production and resolve any defects raised. Provide peer code reviews and ensure the application development processes conform with the required standards. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or related field and 4 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Application Developer, Software Engineer, Java Developer, or related position involving requirements gathering and analysis, and applications design, development, testing and implementation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 6 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full term of required experience must include: Knowledge of Banking domain applications requirements; Object- oriented programming concepts and development; RESTful microservice development; Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot; Docker, OpenShift, ECS; Database management system and processes development using Oracle 12c; UI components development using Angular, Typescript, Node JS; Troubleshooting UI issues; Ab Initio ETL Tool; Knowledge of design patterns and data structures; Using development tools FileZilla, SQL Developer, Eclipse, Putty; and Implementing the messaging queues using RabbitMQ.
