The Medical Network Business Consultant plays a pivotal role in supporting the management and performance of UnitedHealthcare’s largest and most strategic clients. This position requires a solid understanding of UnitedHealthcare’s medical network, critical thinking to resolve complex issues, and the ability to manage multiple projects with precision, consistency and accuracy. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality network services and communications

Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the Vice President of Network Management - Premier Accounts in daily operations and strategic initiatives
- Manage, analyze and maintain network activity reporting, including monthly and ad hoc reporting requests
- Analyze data, identify trend, and create a path for solutioningÂ
- Organize and oversee the Medical Network Teams folder, ensuring up-to-date and accurate documentation, ensuring proper cataloging in SharePoint or Teams. Attend and scribe network management meetings with the clients
- Coordinate and support Premiere Account client implementations and steady-state account management by managing provider digital experience, provider communications/education, provider satisfaction, network adequacy, network utilization patterns, network quality initiatives
- Collaborate with different arounds within the organization and national reporting teams to deliver timely and accurate network activity such as high-risk renewals, terminations, network disruption and other network related updates that have a direct impact on the clients
- Serve as a liaison Network Services and Network Operations to address and resolve client escalations and network gap issues
- Contribute to special network projects and network affordability strategiesÂ
- Create SOP, P&P, and workflows to ensure all parties understand processÂ
- Review contracts understand deliverables owned by the network team

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of medical benefits understanding and client/member service experience
- Project Management background
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Resides in Eastern or Central time zones
Preferred Qualifications:
- Network contracting experience
- Understanding of UMR processes and systems

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
