JD for Postgres DBA. Azure â€� Managed Services with modern stack like GIT, Ansible etc is a mandatory for this requirement.Ìý

• Must have 7+ years DBA working experience with PostgreSQL and good understanding of Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server.Ìý

• Must be knowledgeable and experienced in managing PostgreSQL on multiple operating systems including Linux (RHEL) and Kubernetes.Ìý

• Experienced in setting up PostgreSQL clusters and supporting databases cluster in on-prem and hybrid cloud environment, and specifically in Azure managed services instance.Ìý

• Strong skills in UNIX/Linux Shell ScriptingÌý

• Experience in implementing Postgres STIG implementation, testing, and other vulnerability remediation.Ìý

• Nice to have knowledge of connection poolers (pgPool and pgBouncer).Ìý

• Install, monitor and maintain PostgreSQL software, implement monitoring and alerting.Ìý

• Experience in building high-scalable clusters, failover and hot standby solutions based on Maximum available architectureÌý

• Experience in architecting, configuring, setting up Enterprise Fail over manager or similar technology for High availability solution.Ìý

• Experience in leading efforts related to system and SQL performance tuning and assisting business process integration with various data sources.Ìý

• Ability to work well with development and infrastructure teams in doing database design, changes and enhancement to new and existing applicationsÌý

• Proven ability to provide High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.Ìý

• Maintain operational documentation (e.g., procedures, task lists, architecture blueprints)Ìý

• Strong Troubleshooting SkillsÌý

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working with high demands and short deadlines that leads to working after hours.Ìý

• Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skillsÌý
