路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Build, migrate, and own BI dashboards in Power BI (migrating from Tableau): RTO/RPO compliance heatmaps, system readiness scorecards, DR test status, assessment status, findings & exceptions.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Create self-service Power BI reports to reduce ad鈥慼oc reporting and enable role-based access.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Automate audit evidence packs for internal and external auditors.

Program leadership and governance

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Partner with business and technology teams to identify critical, time鈥憇ensitive functions define and periodically review recovery time (RTO) and recovery point (RPO) objectives.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop, implement, and continuously improve Visa鈥檚 disaster recovery (DR) program aligned to security and resiliency standards.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead governance and cross鈥憈eam coordination for the Offline Backup & Recovery program measure compliance and report KPIs.

Testing and readiness

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Plan, execute, and lead DR exercises track findings and remediation maintain plans and runbooks.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Regularly validate and update DR plans through rigorous testing, lessons鈥憀earned, and maintenance cycles.

Technical standards and engineering

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Establish reference architectures and standards for recovery of applications and infrastructure across core platforms and cloud services.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Investigate and advise on network dependencies for DR (routing, VPNs, firewalls, DNS).

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Define and validate data protection patterns (backups, replication, encryption, immutability, offline backups) across storage platforms.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Guide database resilience for MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB: backup/restore, replication, and failover test and document runbooks.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Integrate with middleware and messaging platforms (Java services, Apache Kafka/Tomcat, Hazelcast) to ensure end鈥憈o鈥慹nd recovery.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications
鈥� 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
鈥� Hands on experience building enterprise dashboards and analytics in Power BI and Tableau, including data modeling (Power BI semantic models), DAX/Power Query, Tableau calculations/LOD, governance, and performance optimization.
鈥� Experience migrating dashboards and data pipelines from Tableau to Power BI.
鈥� Experience in Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) planning partnering with IT on DR/BC plan development and maintenance.
鈥� Experience with critical business processes, products, and services.
鈥� Technical Architect applying resiliency architectures and design patterns.
鈥� Strong knowledge of application, system, and infrastructure architectures backup/restore strategies and methods to maximize data availability and reduce interruption or data loss.
鈥� Solid understanding of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and its partnership with ITDR at both business and technical levels.
鈥� Experience monitoring DR programs for audit and regulatory compliance ability to author and implement DR/BC standards, procedures, and runbooks.
鈥� Excellent verbal and written communication proven ability to build cross functional partnerships and drive joint initiatives.
鈥� Strong analytical skills to identify process improvements, isolate key issues, evaluate alternatives, and make clear recommendations.
