Position Overview:
Ìý
We are seeking a Learning Specialist to join our New Employee Experience team, whereÌýthey will play a pivotal role in shaping onboarding strategy and execution. This positionÌýrequires end-to-end ownership of bi-weekly orientation programming and other new hireÌýlearning solutions, with a focus on driving operational excellence and learner impact.
The Specialist will independently lead full-cycle planning and delivery of both virtual andÌýin-person sessions, ensuring seamless logistics, high-quality production, and strategicÌýalignment with onboarding goals. They will also proactively collaborate with partners andÌýstakeholders to resolve issues and elevate the onboarding experience to a consumer-gradeÌýstandard.
In addition, the Specialist will contribute to the strategic development andÌýimplementation of our Peer Learning Community, and support facilitation efforts asÌýneeded to maintain engagement and continuity across learning environments.ÌýIdeal candidates will bring program or event management expertise, a sharp attention toÌýdetail, and the ability to navigate complex, fast-paced environments autonomously. Primary Responsibilities:
Ìý
- Independently lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of bi-weekly orientationÌýprogramming and a monthly speaker series, ensuring strategic alignment withÌýonboarding goals, timely delivery of milestones, and adherence to budgetÌýparameters.
- Own and manage all communications related to orientation programming—Ìýincluding welcome emails, inbox oversight, and event messaging—ensuring aÌýseamless and engaging learner experience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, stakeholders, and learners,Ìýproactively resolving issues and driving a high-quality, consumer-grade onboardingÌýexperience.
- Help to facilitate virtual and in-person learning sessions, autonomously managing production elements such as breakout room coordination, attendance tracking, and interactive tool deployment (polls, videos, Q&A) to optimize learner engagement.
- Design and oversee the peer facilitator program, including recruitment, training, andÌýongoing engagement of cross-functional volunteers who support orientationÌýdelivery.
- Administer and analyze data through Learning Management Systems and event surveys, ensuring accurate reporting and actionable insights that inform onboarding strategy.
- Conduct independent audits and assessments of learning solutions against definedÌýmetrics, implementing enhancements that improve operational efficiency andÌýlearning outcomes, and tracking the impact of these improvements over time.

Requirements and Minimum Education Level:
Ìý
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, learning and development, trainingÌýand capacity building, organizational development, client consulting, eventÌýmanagement, and/or talent management roles.

- Demonstrated ability to independently manage programs and events, includingÌýplanning, stakeholder engagement, and execution, with a focus on driving strategicÌýoutcomes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear,Ìýlearner-focused messaging across multiple channels.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, leveraging tools to streamline learningÌýoperations and enhance delivery efficiency.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and a proactive interest in applying digital toolsÌýto improve learner experience and scalability.
- Confident presenter with the ability to facilitate engaging sessions or a strong desireÌýto develop facilitation expertise.
- Skilled in translating complex concepts into intuitive process flows, enabling clarityÌýand consistency in learning design and execution.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally to ensureÌýalignment and successful outcomes, while maintaining ownership of deliverables.
- Creative problem-solver who can navigate ambiguity and pressure to deliverÌýeffective solutions.
- Comfortable piloting new approaches and iterating based on feedback, contributing to continuous improvement in onboarding and learning strategy.
