As the Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products. Your responsibilities will include:
Inventory Management: Oversee raw material and finished goods inventories, conducting regular cycle counts, and addressing discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
Shipping & Receiving: Manage the timely and accurate shipping and receiving of materials, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule shipments, negotiate rates, and resolve any transportation issues.
Forecasting & Accrual: Develop and manage accurate logistics spent forecasts and handle monthly accrual processes.
Team Leadership: Supervise and lead warehouse and logistics staff, setting priorities, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Process Optimization: Analyze and improve warehouse and logistics processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet operational goals.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, quality, planning and customer service teams to align logistics activities with business objectives.

Qualifications
Avery Dennison values experience and education that align with the demands of this role. Ideal candidates will possess:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in warehouse and logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle ERP, Microsoft Office Suite, and warehouse management systems.
Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Certifications: Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to logistics and warehouse operations.
